   Five years ago I made my very first craft, a Father Time doll. It seemed everyone who saw it wanted one. So I made a batch - a BIG batch! I got carried away though, and it seemed my supply was greater than the demand at the time, so I decided to have a small Country Craft Fair at the local church hall. I invited some other vendors to sell their crafts one snowy Sunday afternoon. All my Dolls sold! The next year I did the same thing, this time I added a few hand painted crafts, (I had never tole painted before). Again I sold out!

   Crafting slowly became an almost full-time thing. My Mom & Dad gave me my own saw for Christmas, (quite a hint eh?), and I began to add more crafts to my display, and started showing at one of the largest and well attended craft shows on the Island. Just last year I added a few of my own craft designs and was thrilled when they sold on the first day.

   Today, thanks to the patience of my husband and two girls, I spend a lot of time in my basement workshop, which my Dad built for me, designing and creating seasonal whimsical country wood crafts!
